From The Five Pillars

The plain mage is a strange one indeed. His people spend their time either building machines to defend them or studying the ways of holy magic to save them. A plain mage and all his magic is represented by the tan or white color. His units are either all technological monstrosities or men of faith that use holy powers to fight. His spells similarly call upon a higher power to heal him and give him strength or help his machines to be more powerful. When the dust clears after battle a plain mage can often resurrect his fallen soldiers.

A plain mage finds it easy convincing the forces of nature and the elemental creaturess to assist him. But the swamp dwellers and beasts of the mountain are often harder to control.

Believe and trust in god to protect your lands and your bounty shall grow.
